I'M INTERESTED ↗

Great engineering needs strong execution on site. At Tribe Engineering, successful projects depend on more than good technical designs. They depend on people who understand what happens on site, keep activities moving and ensure work is carried out safely and professionally. As a Site Supervisor, you're the connection between engineering, technicians, contractors and the customer. You coordinate daily activities, monitor technical quality and help turn project plans into successful execution. You'll work in demanding industrial, maritime, offshore and infrastructure environments, where your practical experience and leadership make a difference.

01

THE JOB

What you’ll actually be doing.

As a Site Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for coordinating and supervising technical activities on site.

  • Coordinate daily installation, maintenance, modification and commissioning activities.
  • Supervise technicians, engineers and subcontractors during project execution.
  • Monitor work quality, safety, technical progress and compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure activities follow technical drawings, procedures and agreed working methods.
  • Identify technical issues, execution risks and potential delays at an early stage.
  • Coordinate daily work priorities, site access and practical resource requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers, project managers and engineering teams.
  • Support inspections, testing, commissioning and technical handover activities.
  • Report site progress, outstanding issues and relevant technical findings.
  • Contribute to a professional, organised and safety-conscious working environment.

You'll be the person who keeps the technical execution organised and ensures that problems are addressed before they affect the project.

02

YOUR SKILLS

What you bring to the table.

We're looking for an experienced technical professional who combines hands-on engineering knowledge with strong coordination and communication skills.

  • Completed relevant technical education at MBO level 4 or higher, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering, installation, maintenance or commissioning.
  • Demonstrable experience supervising technical activities or coordinating engineers and contractors on site.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, installation procedures and safe working practices.
  • Ability to identify execution risks, set priorities and maintain progress.
  • Experience working with customers, project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Practical leadership style, strong organisational skills and a sense of ownership.
  • Professional English communication skills. Dutch is strongly preferred.
  • A valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Relevant VCA and NEN 3140 qualifications are preferred. Sector-specific certifications are advantages.
